" SMARAGDA " and exposition of antiquities " Jurmalnieku Senlietas " (The Antiquities of Latvian Seamen) is a great rest-area in open air for nax big and small groups of people. The place is situated in Jurmalciems - an old Latvian fishermen village 25 km far from Liepaja. The place is quite defiant: far from city noises, 800 m from the sea, quiet and beautiful nature of sand-dunes and pine-forests.
The place is devised for outdoor activities: there is a great football field, dancing area in open air with a scene and the rest-room. You can play the beach-volleyball, swim or just spend the day next to the sea looking for ambers at the shore... if u are lucky...
And of course the store, where u can buy food and other goods any time (...beer as well...)
Up to 300 tents can be sited here. Car parking places are available as well.
